Hello all, a newbie member here from Falmouth, Cornwall.
Been driving a Discovery for the last 6 years but this year's MOT was the last straw for her, too much rust to make her worthwhile, so here I am with a frontera!
Just picked it up yesterday, R-Reg 2.5 Diesel
My issues so far which need investigating and fixing whcih I can potter about with this weekend, hopefully nothing too serious, I'll no doubt be bugging you all with questions int he tech forums later today!
No Speedo or Odometer
4WD warning light flickers when in 2wd
Rear Passenger door sticks
Needs new fuel cap
Oil Pressure sensor dodgy, always shows "full" even with oil cap off.
Just trying to work out now if the seller has ###### me with the tax, he put 1 years tax on yesterday and I paid him the cash for it (well £100 cos he was only going to put 6 months on, I owe him the rest) but on further inspection its a disabled tax disc eg value=£0.00. I shall go and see him later and find out why I'm paying him for tax he didn't actually have to pay for!!
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come, what else has he kept quiet about?

had a horrible feeling that was the case.
Just had a look at the previous discs, none of the others were disabled!

the nice local DVLA sorted me out today so I'm back on the road! Yay.
that is until I got home on the bus, and the frontera wouldn't start...
