Just bought my 2nd Frontera

Can't believe I waited until I bought a Frontera to join your forum. I usually prefer to buy cars from within a club as they are generally known and the sellers are more honest.

But it's too late now so I guess I'll have to cross my fingers that the one I bought is ok - it's a 2.8TD Sport S and I'm picking it up this afternoon.

I had a 2.0i Sport about 5 years ago, which was bought to tow a car trailer (which it was ok, but not great at), but I did use it off-road a little bit and was pretty impressed. Only had it a year and lost a fortune on it, but that was cos I wanted to get rid of it quickly. The main problem I remembered with it was that the rear lights and indicators only worked intermittently, as they got wet regularly. I never had both lights working at the same time. Is this common, and is there a fix for it? A LWB or later SWB rear light conversion would be the perfect solution if they are the same size.

Anyway, better go and get ready to collect my new one. I will be looking at doing some off-road days in it, but for the time being won't be spending lots of money on lifts, tyres and the like.
