Hi Guy's, Hav'nt got a Fronty yet, had a 2.0 ltr sport back in the day!! Got rid as was abit thirsty!! Anyhow been looking at 2.2 tdi's around 1999/2000 or so, will be running on Homemade Bio diesel, just started to look around your forum, very impressed so far.

Hi Bud, read all the threads on Bio. I have been making it for over 18 Months now, and it's pretty good fuel, i ran a Renault Laguna 01 plate common rail for 12 Months on it. I go on a veggie/oil/Bio forum, and it's well known that alot of the Bio from the garages is crap, half the time it is'nt washed properly, you know from doing a simple wash test on the fuel that all the caustic/Meth as not been washed out. You can't diss Bio on just one bad case. You can say i told you so if owt happens.

P.s My Bio is filtered down to 1 Micron also, most fuel at the forecourts only gets filtered round about 4/5 Micron. Plus it as the bosch vp44 pump, which is good on Bio as it as the Viton seals, afew injection pumps need to be up-graded to use Bio, ie; replacement of standard seals to Viton.
