Thanks for the info Chaps
Well, curiosity got the better of me tonight. I was itching to try and SLOWLY unbolt one... just one, just to see how easy (or hard) it would be
Armed with a drill, box of good drill bits, and a tap and die set ready for a long night, and a pot of grease 'just in case it came out ok' I started on the o/s/r and.... No dramas! Wound it out a bit, back a bit, out a bit more and so on till I could take it out by hand

Greased it up and put it back in and did the same with the next, and the next. All 6 came out with no worrys what so ever

Happy days indeed
I'll just cut the middle 2 out on both sides and with any luck the fronts will unbolt easy enough, or snap and save me the hassle
Stuart, I've got an electric fan on mine not a viscous one so I don't need to trim the cowl

I might have to twist/trim the lower hose though.
Just a thought... if the bottom of the rad sits on the chassis (I think) and the top is held in place by the bracket on the body, whats going to hold it in place once I've lifted it?
'Might' lift it tomorrow afternoon after work, failing that i'll make a start on Tuesday night
