Hi everyone Help please

Hi ladies and Gents
I am quite new to this forum I have a 99 2.2 petrol frontera which has just gone bang and needs a new engine. I have a 3.1 turbo diesel Isuzu trooper, has anyone transported the 3.1 into a frontera? If so any help would be greatly received.

Hi and welcome to FOG, Your 3.1 can be transplant as anything is possible bud, but will take sooooo much work :wall:

its probably easier to get a decent diesel. Why not have a look for a decent 2.8

The timing belt tensioner broke a piece off and dropped onto the crank pulley causing it to jump teeth and bend all 16Valves

I have a 3.1 turbo diesel isuzu trooper, which I could use as a donour and swap all bits to make a diesel , I have looked for a 2.8 with no luck they are like hens teeth

Hi and yes you can put the 3.1 in the fronty and it wont be to hare if you have the trooper at hand till you get every thing swapped over

Fix it!! Its not a bad job to do if you have time and some tools..

If not, I'll be in Wales in August... should I bring the trailer? :lol:
