I am new to this site and it seems polite to introduce myself. Name's Beki, originally from sunny California and now living in semi-sunny Cornwall. I left my first Frontera behind in Cali (a 1993 Isuzu Rodeo lwb v6) after surpassing the 300k on the clock, weekly off-road battering and 3 years of pure love. It was a very reluctant sell, I never had a problem with it, ever. When I jumped the pond the very first thing I bought was a 1999 Frontera for £545. That was 2 years ago and I may have found love again. It failed it's last MOT (brakes, exhaust and normal stuff) and would be over £600 to fix. So, silly me, went out and bought a Freelander instead - biggest mistake of my life! 6 days in the head gasket blew, mechanic said the engine's done for. Moral of my story, hang on to your Frontera, spend the money on it if she needs it and she will be your best friend until well past 300k.

I will now pull out a loan to get Bandicoot through her MOT and back into some mud! I'll let you know how that goes...
