I have been reading your forum for a month or two and it has been very helpfull in keeping the good ladies 2.0 sport on the road. I am about to buy, on Wednesday this week, a very modified Isuzu 2.8 Mu sport. Can I come and play on your site or do I have to go with the big boys at itocuk.?

Is it basically a Fronty sport then or am i just bein stupid mate.

I got 2.0 sport no no-claim as had company vehicle for the past 7 years n it cost me £165 tpff.

No Idea, I have been looking for a play thing for a while and was going to give up on a 2.8 fonty, as cheep ones seem to be rocking horse S**t. Decided to try for a Trooper, My every day drive is a 3.0 swb Trooper, and was looking for a mk1, on the Isuzu forum, and this one popped up. It has everything done and all listed and photos to match. Looking forward to getting it muddy and starting on the mending game.

Yeah it is good fun. The good thing is that this forum has such a wide knowledge base u never cant find out what u want to know.

That MU is a nice play thing - I've seen it in action at Holymoreside (it appears in thisvideo)

the 2.8TDi engine is the same as in the 2.8 Frontera and as you can see the bodywork is also very similar. Even the dash looks familiar with most components from either the Frontera or the Brava range.

I had a quote today from Noel Dazely, quoting all the mods, no no claims , 1 sp30 fixed penalty - £150 tpf&t or £195 fully comp. Not bad I thought.

One carefull owner.....I hope not.....what would be the point of building it? You will not find me polishing it on a Sunday put it that way.

As Lawrence mentioned, he joined us at Holymoorside and well impressed most of us with the vehicle.

Truck drove home no problems. 180 miles at 28.9mpg, I don’t think that’s bad considering that it has MT’s and the external roll cage thing. Mind you I can’t get the wife to even look at it let alone get into it – :dance:

so not all bad then.
Planned a big off road session for next weekend to see how it goes.
