im new and need help

Hi and welcome along - one of the tech bods will be along shortly with some advice, though it could just be a dicky battery - is it a sealed one or can you check the water levels in it?

nice to meet you i picked the battery up from a scap yard he said its a good one?
i have checked the water levels all looks good going to charge it all night then try again
i hope its not to much to get right cause ive all ways liked the frontera but i dont want this one to put me off lol

Stick with it - as you will no doubt find out by reading a lot of the posts on here, there are a few of us with ... teething problems. But the good news is that you are now part of a huge resource of knowledge and help. The parts are not too expensive for the most, and the jobs are easy to do.

right battery had been on charge for 3 days so had loads of power ?
connected the battery all was good no discharge till i turned the key then all dash lights dimmed as loads of power going to glow plugs pig tail light went out then after 5 mins power was restored but the fronty aint turning over from its battery tried the battery it came with (which had been on charge for 2 days) and connected it to my nissan serena via some heafty jump leads spins engine over and trys to fire up getting white smoke out from exuast till no power left to turn over and jump leads sarting to get warm and smoke lol
so still not running yet and i'm getting eager to get her on the road

PLEASE HELP

If it turns over when connected with jump leads then the battery is probably knackered.
