Greetings and Salutations to one and all from a soaking wet, mud coated individual in a somewhat wet, windy and partially flooded part of the Windsor/Eton region of Berkshire .............
Not unfortunately, as most of you would automatically think, because of a glorious off road session, involving the extracation of stranded vehicles from various mud holes..... but merely due to walking my dog during what can only be described as a minor temper tantrum of the weather gods...
(Note: Yes this individual is of the ''what ever the weather - the show must go on'' and ''mud mud glorious mud'' mentality and does own a number of white jackets with buttons down the BACK !!)
Right best stand up for this bit.......
My name is WAYNE and I am a Frontera Owner.....
A Blue, Petrol, December 98, 2198cc, SWB Sport Frontera to be exact ...
Phew... !! there I've said it now, I'm out of the garage and proud to admit it and it feels good !!
Don't know what he's waffling on about, he's had it for almost 10 years, used to waffle on about it no end, especially after a weekend where he used it to recover ...... LOOK AWAY NOW IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ SOME NASTY WORDS..... not 1 but ''3 Landrover Discoveries'' from an ikle cross country track in Weybridge ....
Anyways.... that all said.. I'm looking forward to getting her back on the road (she had a bad tour of duty with a relative of mine up in Manchester and is now in the process of receiving a little bit of TLC.... Well in actual fact a great deal of TLC - So no doubt many a question will get posted over the next few days) as well as hopefully getting to know and even meet up with other club members in the not so distant future....
So to end.... GREETINGS ONCE AGAIN TO YOU ALL...
Ciao for now
