new fronty owner with questions

Hi all, been reading some posts today and everyone seems willing to help a fellow fronty owner out with any problems they have, nice to see, alot wouldn't bother. Having said that i am after some advice. I have recently purchased a m reg 2.0l sport (impulse ebay buy) but the steering seems to be a little light and when braking hard seems to pull a little to the right.also seems to get blown about abit on windy days, i have not owned a 4x4 before so is it normal for the steering to be light etc (it goes in the direction it should, maybe i'm just comparing it to the 206 i had before, nasty little thing.) Your views would be much appreciated. plus are there any meets events etc in the yorkshire area? thanks.

206's are great cars... well i liked my one, someone in the 'know' will appear.

My LWB gets batterd by the wind, nothing to worry about.

sounds like you're trying to compare the fronty to the 206.

The steering can be adjusted, but it is a tall car with tall fat tyres that also tram line on the motorway, just all part of owning a 4x4, and it stops you falling asleep at the wheel :wink:

Hi Mate and welcome. Due to my lack of knowledge. I am sorry but I can't offer you any advice, unless you took it to a 4 x 4 garage and try and get a free assessment with what maybe wrong with it. ATB. Reeco :wink:

Now i'm not saying that fronteras get blown about in the wind or the steering feels light and floaty, but my other half has started taking sea sickness tablets on long runs :wink:

To the guy who posted his wife now has to take sickness tablets -

the cabin pressure is different slightly - try not to turn to sharp and brake too hard - when i got mine - i used to do that till i got used to it.

after a while all the timing will get right.

If you got air con like me - IMPORTANT - run a bacterial cleaner - one of those spray things in your car with the air con on - gets rid of smells bacteria and visruses etc - make sure youre not in car when you do it though - get at halfords - instructions on tin!

otherwise - down the window and inch to allow fresh air in and tell the missus to squeeze her wrists a little when it happens - always works for people i know with similar issues.

If that is still not enough - get the car Valet done - shampoo and antibac in car type. sometimes a previous occupant may have been sick and the virus lingers.

other than that pray - or see a GP for BP check and hormone check...
