Ainsdale/Southport Beach BBQ on July the 10th by Drift on Mon Mar 08, 2010 12:51 am

Early days but I would like to gauge interest in a BBQ one Sunday or Saturday either end of July or late August on Southport or Ainsdale Beach in Merseyside?

I say those two locations as you can park your cars on the beach and its ideal should the weather be fine.

Anyway here is where I am thinking of, just by Pontins in Ainsdale.

sea was right in the other day, probably the first time that I've ever seen it right up to the sea wall. Must have been a spring high tide thing, was the same day as the big waves (bores i think) on the river severn.
