It was a holiday that we thought we could raise a few £££ for charity, we never took a penny as we where going anyway, in the end we got £2000 only decided 6 weeks before we went to collect for charity, that was split between Clair House and Thursdays Child ![]() Ste Ste

when I talk to companys I sell Advertising space on my car for a year I have found this an easier way to get the sponsorship than just putting someones logos on for a weekend doing it this way you could start now and then take them off just after the mac

Its hard getting sponsorship of national companys but you could find out the company that organises the adverts on the buses ive heard they pay qite well to have space on the buses
you will also find it hard to get money from 4x4 companys as most of these sponsor the same people ever year this year i got one of my sponsors out of the blue i wasnt expecting to go in for a mot and come out with the doors sponsored on me paj ![]()
Well Ive already mentioned it to my mate who is the marketing manager so here is hoping, and I have a contact at the company that does the adverts on the buses for our company, the also do most of the bus shelters in the coutry to

as ive said in one of my other post start now it makes it a lot easier and once you get the first main sponsors logos on the car people star asking questions about the event so carry something like a portfolio with you containing stuff like the history of the event any newspaper cuttings from previos events ect
Plus this might give you a idear on the press and radio side of it http://pajuk.co.uk/index.php?topic=811.msg8290#msg8290
Thank you for your enquiry regarding the Guide Dogs Survival Challenge. In 2007 we have made the challenge even more exciting by introducing 4x4 vehicles.
Here is your chance to join the off-road convoy as we head into the hills of the Lake District to start a weekend of adventure, survival and discovery. Our 4x4 journey to base camp will traverse mountain tracks, green lanes and fords before we arrive at our secluded woodland location. As daylight fades, teams will need to pitch camp, setting up expedition-style shelters, build their fire and prepare their own wild-food meal before spending the first night under the stars. During the Survival Challenge, each team consisting of four participants will be challenged to make fire by friction, build woodland shelters, construct and race their own basher boat, prepare wild foods, cook via manifold, purify water and taught to navigate by the stars. This magnificent Lake District location is surrounded by spectacular scenery and off-road trails just waiting to be discovered by your team. This really is a great opportunity to literally take your 4x4 to new heights. Our team of highly-qualified and experienced instructors will provide training and guidance throughout. Teams can use their own 4x4’s subject to completion and return of a vehicle checklist, or one can be provided with a professional instructor. It is going to be a fantastic event! I will send you further information as soon as we have it. Thank you for wanting to support Guide Dogs.
