hi all
if any body fancys a trip to wales on the 9th feb to do corwen car wash, wayfarer, pheasent steps, v-gully etc, will be leaving leek at 7.00am and come back when were done, please let me know.

Chirk mc donalds it is, on the roundabout on the A5 at 9.00am sharp, on sat 9th feb.
anyone else who wants to come please let me know.
looking forward to the v-gully and the steps myself :D :shock:

PS does anyone know the best grid ref to start the wayfarer running west to east ive noticed theres a few entrances. i have done the steps, v-gully etc in my old suzuki vitara so i know the best way to take them but i have never done the wayfarer cause it was closed when i last went , i can see it on my map but dont no which entrance to take.

yes the more the merryer, start at glyn ceiriog up to the a5 through ceiriog forest across to corwen, down wayfarer, the pheasent steps and surrounding lanes then finish in llangollen.

Yeah thats the one Gav. Just carry straight down the M53 until you need to take the Wrexham turnoff on the A453 and follow that . Only takes about 30-40mins. As you come to the roundabout its on the left.

have a great day. At the V gulley just remember not to drive too far over on the leaning side. And watch out on the Pheasant steps going down, get someone to walk you down as it gets very wet and sticky and its easy to start sliding. Apart from that you should have a fantastic day. The Hand (at Llanarmon)pub serves a crackin pint and some decent food(good lunch stop off point)

sorry duys got to pull out of this one went to change the thermostat yesterday and all the bolts snapped off the housing will give it my best shot today though and will try and get there :cry:
