10 Miles of fording and greenlaning in lincs

Hi all, just a post to say after much scouring od O.S Maps i devised a good route of fords and greenlanes in lincolnshire, aprox ten miles with only 1 mile of road between 4 lanes, going from tealby market rasen and claxby, a few of the lanes are nothing to tough but a few are really something. had a great time. if anyone fancy it i could put up some rough directions. thanks joe

if you have google earth you can plot a route on that and send post a route on there so we can do a fly by of the planned route as might be interested in a few weeks of coming for a play as off to thebeach this weekend and often in lincoln shire as family over at the cast near sutton on sea

Just be sure they are all legal fella's,

thats why i asked for a flyby of the routes easier to check when i know where they are.

plus i have a gas bottle underneath so i cant be going to mental off road i have to make sure its safe for me i have ripped it off once already :butt:

all the lanes are marked clearly with public byway signs at each end and are also clearly shown on the O.S maps as byways. one of the lanes (the longer one) is very uneven not for the un lifted. so all is good.

mines sits this high with 2 in the back

so i gues it counts me out then

Depends you might be able to go round the really bad ones if someone has recce'd them already. We did some of the lanes near tealby the other night which was fun.

Be careful though as I understand some of them round there have been cut up quite badly by "not so careful off roaders" so may be off limits.

so hve you had your day out and where are some of these routes as i am over at the coast for a few days so might be interested in getting my tires dirty and i have raised my truck a few inches now so more than game for a giggle.

i am all for that next month after all were having a nice meet at a country pub with the chance for some off roading this month aftewards.

well i do try but it's cos like the rest of us on here i have a few good mates and friends on here that let me sort these meet out and turn up

thats why you lot make it for me coming to the meets so it's not in vain

Where's the offroad site? I didn't know there was any near Nottingham

there is not an offroad site there is a private land that i have access to that has a lot of varied terain that on occasions i get permission to bring a few tucks down for a play as long as we dont upset the neighbours with the noise.
