The Wayfarer is now open

Postby Drift on Fri Jun 17, 2011 12:35 am

It has been open a week or two.
The hole has pretty much self healed and a local farmer helped it along by dumping some stone in it, but now its open and passable with relative ease.

A word of warning though, there are some ruts/scares in the area around it in the soft ground, this is where cars went around the hole before the TRO was enforced, this is not the official route and please do not use it as a bit of fun as the land is SSI any off piste could get the lane closed completely.

Apparently some "Road Closed " signs are still posted on the lane but this is just because the counsel have not had anyone up there to take them away.

So, are old friend is back
