Done it a few times, not bad or difficult, great views across the valley, its got a section where you are on a side slope very close to the fence and a large drop, safe but un nerving first time, there is a tight left hand gate near the bottom end but easy enough, its quite rutted.

Cant find any pics but will look later.

If the farmer there is still playing silly buggers you have had it, he strategically places rocks or has been know to move the gate post, one time he threatened a 4x4 group with a shotgun to get off "his" land, until he realised 2 of the group where policemen

From what I have read that has all been dealt with, plus I am up there tomorrow repairing part of it with the Crag / TL lot so I'll have a look then. Although it's rained solidly for two days so I bet I'm the one daft enough to turn up

Well done you for going, wish I could make it, the rain will make the heather easier to plant

Watch that gate though in the mud, its very gloopy in that area and you can easily skid into the post, but its rather fun negotiating it 8) kinda back fired on Mr farmer.

Im pretty sure it starts at Rhewl near Llangollen, you get to two gates and if memory serves right its the right gate at the top of the T junction.

Some one will pop up here to tell you how bad my memory is now

There are a couple of deep puddles just before the top, If its been raining heavily they can be quite deep. Certainly deeper then the few on splashy lane. Unless they have been filled in over the last year.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!
