I went to look at great alne ford but a guy in a l200 said he only just managed to get through so I decided against it!

we proved that sign wrong :lol: ssteve went through first the rest followed after he gave us the ok, Great fun :D

I think its a classic case of warwickshire county council covering there own ar*es. The road is a right of way so they cant close it, so they stick up signs like that so joe blogs in his ford escort doesnt try it and then sue claming they had no warning it was *that* deep.

Saying all of this is OK,
But I've driven through it and a guy behind me in a snorkled Landy has chickened out!!!
Myself and Andy went through Great Alne and noticed that The Council had put the Sign up AFTER we'd driven through it!!
I ignore signs and go by Depth Markers!! and if there's no Depth Marker and I don't know the Ford ... I WALK through it!!
