midlands laning

does any one know of any good green lanes around the midlands? and are there any fronty green lane meets locally

Personally, I lane mostly in Wales, although I am beginning to explore the Shropshire countryside - is that near enough to the Midlands ?

We Should be running another day out, possibly North Wales in Mid January.

Good news is the Longmynd looks set for Sunday 18th January 2009.

Also there looks like there may be at least two groups already filled.

Longmynd is on the Shropshire/Welsh border not a million miles away from Telford.

Price, is just the cost of your petrol.

Terrain, well there is easy lanes, and there is hard lanes. Depends how brave, or kitted out your car is. Also a point to note that when laning there is a very high chance your truck will get the paint work scratched by tree branches, bushes and maybe the odd dry stone wall ..... You have been warned !!!
