welsh laning...

i have also posted this in the north west section, so if one needs to be moved or edited, feel free...

Seems like a few of us are fancying a bit of laning, so who is up for it..

Nice day in the lanes of north wales. picnic or a cafe stop, whatever you fancy...

Glass guide lines will of course be followed, so this is a laning trip, not an off road mudplugging day...

Would be very interested in joining in on this one. I just organised a weekends camping and laning in my neck of the woods with Alex, Goldfinder and Rich 2.4i.

If your interested I have a full days laning right on my doorstep and more then enough to fill a weekend. but would also be interested in checking out other lanes as well.

Well up for that, Can take you on a weekend laning trip no probs. Centre for alternative technology is a bit of a farce though.

i would be up for another laning weekend as long as i can get the Saturday off work, Sundays no problem as don't work Sundays

once a date has been set will let you know if i can make it or not - unless it the last week of November then i am free

Any dates in mind then lads? Can't make the weekend 20/21 sept free most other weekends this month.

i'm pretty much free whenever, so up to you guys...

when can you make it and when can't you...then can take it from there.

did some ace lanes today around north wales.. Some real technical ones and some real nice straight forward ones but in lovely places and one with a big ford at the end...

With regards to the vehicles, how modded are they, are any standard..?? Clearance would be an issue on a standard one.

Lifted here, Lanes Im thinking of AT tyres are a minimum. Could possibly get around on Road biased tyres but some tugging here and there may be required.

What about next weekend?

If its N Wales next weekend then I'm free Sunday. As far as mods go mine is standard apart from a set of MT's, no side steps.Done plenty of lanes around there without much trouble. Let us know which ones you think might be a problem. (I may have already done them :lol:

Only one lane that is really an issue, and thats a really scratchy one as well, so if you value your paint probably best we leave that one out.

Are we talking about the 6th/7th or the 13th/14th? Both are good for me. Sunday may be best all round.

3 of us ready to go, 1 more will make a full house.

13th/14th.... sunday is good for me...

Will have my lift and better wheels/tyres on by then as well...

i'm coming from cheshire, delamere, furio from middlewich, harper from liverpool way, and mr sir-doris from welsh wales..

I guess myself, furio and harper could meet on the way and maybe meet mr doris on the horseshoe pass..???
