been out doing a recce of some local lanes

sorry i used my surf as my tyres and exhaust are still yet to arrive :cry:

was nice to see the 04 plate land cruiser out with you ....and the 90 on the end of a tow rope :lol:

that cruiser has been offroad from new, theres vids on youtube from ages back, but today he had a £400 door mirror riped off

thats my surf tugging the 90 out

the owner must have very deep pockets ...to keep replacing door mirrors at 400 quid each :shock:

your surf looks good ...which one is it ???

he did seem well off(lucky sod)

Nice pics, do you have/ can you send the grid ref of the lanes, (pm) particularly the sections that have become a little muddy , one cant tell from the pictures alone, but it does look like thay are in need of some repair in one or two sections before thay deteriorate

i wouldnt mind getting envolved in some repair work to

Cracking pics looked a bit boggy in places but a seems a crackig set of lanes.

pics 24 to 28 are the reason for the muddy section as we all had to reverse and turn around on that corner, the corner itself will self repair as its on a natural drain away but if you look at the pics you will see that the lane has been washed away. it will need some serious work as its on the side of a bank thats 50 foot to the river below
the lane has had no vehicle traffic along it for i guess at least 10 years so is well over grown, we had to cut branches with a diameter of 8 inches just to get onto the lane.
can you post me a link to a map site so i can get you the map ref as my map is dated 1986 and is not shown but it was on my mates upto date map as a white!!!!!!!!

Interested in lane repair and laning around your way anytime your going out mate.

Where they legal lanes

or un-roadworthy vehicles

they are classed as whites on the o/s maps so not even byways, i think he was making a fuss as i know there are pics and vids of most of us on the internet some where from our offroad excursions
