It is looking good, although a circlip popped off the drivers side autohub so I ended up with 3 wheel drive after the washout.

Turned out the circlip was ok Ste. Hard to explain but the hub is slipping and jamming, suspect it may just be worn out.

Is it possible you need a shim/washer behind the circlip to help it engage ? the drive shaft just may have a bit more movement in it, that could cause it not to lock properly or cause it to unlock if the shaft moves on flexing.
