Wow - cracking pictures. All the lanes look in fair condition and quite sustainable.

I've not laned in that area before (but driven many forest tracks up there). I have a week off in a weeks time, so if you fancy a return trip to show me the way it'd be appreciated :wink:

Depends how things go, my mums husband is critical in hospital, his kids are at my mums now ( properly wont be for long ) but as soon as they go Ill be staying at hers for a few days to give her a lift and stuff.
But if things improve I may be able to go the Lakes again, but think we will miss out Stile End :lol:

All I can say is what a fantastic day we had... Now ~Ive dug myself from the pit....and sorted out pics

I'll have to try again later. I thought Id resized them all but apparently not. Was using phone camera as well so may be thats the issue

Incidentally that truck stop RV point was a good call, whilst Ste was waiting with the trucks, I had a full English.
