But mate, the rules of laneing clearly dictate that the guy with the New tyres always goes 1st to test the terrain.

I mentioned on another forum we were doing Strata next week and someone replied that it was closed, that can't be right surely ?
I was talking to a guy that owns a guest house not far from the route at the 4x4 indoor show about 3 weeks ago and he never mentioned closure and I'm sure he would know as a lot of people use his place as a stating point for the trip.

As far as I am concerned it's open 
All the lanes we are doing have been checked using trail wise
As strata is a very well known lane all forums would be taking about it if it had been closed

Started to replace the CV on the O/S and noticed it needs top and bottom ball joint and a TRE 
Can't afford to look at the N/S , so I'll assume they are OK
Hopefully I'll have it sorted by the end of the weekend. Not sure I'm gonna have chance to do the suspension lift before Strata though
