Your idea is spot on for keeping the car dry box but I'm working from 7am till 10pm tomorrow so I won't have time before I go on Sunday mate

I'm sure someone could get you a tube of silcone from B&Q and a think sheet of perspex or even MDF at a push wrapped in a bin liner. I've done it mate and it take 15 mins to fit.

Umbrella with a brick duct taped to the handle...sorted :lol:

If you cant get the perspex just duck tape a bin liner over it. In fact I'd do that now just to keep the wet stuff out
