That was a fantastic day and brilliant laughs, just the one embarrassing moment for me (more on that later) and the weirdest encounter at the end of the day was just bizarre and a bit entertaining but well out of order from the other party

Right, I'll do my best to explain what happened today.

Great days laning, plenty of giggles and mickey taking - not mentioning Drift's incident or Stevd constantly running out of electric

At the end of the day we ended up in the car park opposite my house. For those that don't know I live 5 minutes from the end of the Wayfarer - one of the most famous lanes in Wales.

As we all (slowly) pull into the car park to say our farewells and are chatting a voice in the field is heard screaming (and I DO mean screaming) Why don't you all F*** off back to England you F**** W******* . Stunned, I explained to this lunatic that I lived 100 yards from where we were stood. At which point he said well you aren't F***** from round here so F***** Off you F*** blah blah blah. Still a bit stunned I try (waste of time) to explain to the guy that we are responsible laners etc etc but he isn't hearing us. Or he is hearing us , but he's not listening. Now screaming abuse and using hand gestures which suggest I pleasure myself , he carries on his tirade. He then comes close to the fence which separates us . Two things then happen. 1. Dave pulls his right hand back 2. I realise he is the Chairman of the local community council. As I grab Daves arm to stop him putting the counsellor to sleep , the idiot wanders off still screaming abuse and threats. To put the cherry on the cake , he then slips over on some slippy grass as we all cheer and laught our heads off

I get in the house and have a think and decide that we have done nowt wrong and call the Police. Police arrive and take statement. They decide that if he calls to my house and makes a verbal apology within seven days we wont prosecute.

So there we go . Police have been and are calling around to his place afterwards to issue the warning. We'll see what happens.
