Byways - What if the're too small

Theres a public byway near me in Morbath(Devon) the sign says it is a public byway even the OS maps say its a public byway ,but you cant even get 2 pedestrians side by side up it.

Does seem daft with all these classifications that are clearly so so wrong... :oh yer:

Errm thats why they are restricted byways :wink:

Remember many of these ancient lanes go back to way before motor vehicle, when drovers and herders used them.

I looked into the disabled side while back due to my wife been of limited mobility an there is groups that use the offroad version of mobility scooters an they take people out in a convoy of mobility scooters which seems funny to see a convoy of mobility scooter going throught the forest, but least there has been some consideration for disabled people.
