dont worry matey, i'm only kidding.. you will have a good day up there. Just watch your ground clearence if your fronty is standard, thats the only issue i had when i did it in my standard swb. Just dont let the mess that fellow '4x4' drivers have left at the top of the wayfarer p~ss you off to much. Also the sleepers are a lot better since they were sorted last weekend. Have a good un and will see you about on another trip...

Could we not organise a trip for peeps who have already done a bit of laneing? If anyone fancies getting out let me know, was up in that area last week and did a few of the lanes mentioned, as it happens. Also know one or two around Buxton , and have plans to recce a few more. It would be great to meet a few like minded people from FOG. Whereabouts in Cheshire are you Johnny? I'm in Middlewich.
Someone mention laning? Just tell me when and where!

I am actually looking at putting on an "intermediate" trip, one that requires a few vehicle mods.
I've got a few ideas but don't yet have a suitable circular route. When I do, I'll do a recce with some potential leaders to work out some timings and then post a general invite - it wont be for a while yet though.
Feel free to arrange your own trips out, although could I ask that we keep this particular thread for this particular beginners trip.

Aha, a timely reminder...
Can we have a show of hands to confirm we are each still available for the 25th.
I'll send out the meeting location a little closed to the date.

Put me down on the reserve list ol' boy. I know i've done a few greenlanes before, but I could do with a gentle, non extreme green laning session due to the injured arm and shoulder. It's doing my head in not been able to get out and about. Can't quite manage any of the rougher stuff the other guys are organising quite just yet.

Hi Lawrence, i am sat here holding my hand up but i'm not sure if you can see it. I am still a definate for the 25th's daytrip, I know my truck is rather modified but as i have done very little greenlaning, (One day total), i am looking forward to learning a bit more about what to do and how to do it. Can you please let me know when i can put my hand down because my arm is starting to ache now. Cheers Dan

Well, it looks like we have a full house.
I will just restate that this is a trip primarily for beginners, ie those who have not yet taken their Frontera off road, and whilst some on the list below have ( I suspect), the majority have not.
Latest List.
1. Trugga - Confirmed 2. frontydan - Confirmed 3. andysd1 - Confirmed 4. sjbulldog - Confirmed 5. 2old0_0 - Confirmed 6. Fuddy Mucker 7. Drift - Confirmed 8. FrontyCustoms - Confirmed
The route I have in mind will be sustainable, i.e. mostly hard track with little (if any) mud and whilst you will get to experience some uneven ground offering a technical challenge, the route has been proven to be undamaging to a standard Frontera.
