what a day!!!! i tried to get onto one of the greenlanes and there was a horse box blocking the route so that miffed me off but i spoke to the farmer who owned it and he said he had broken down awaiting his son to tow it with the tractor so i had to reverse all the way back down to the start! the second thing i tried was a bit of fording big style and try the beck not knowing that the bloke who said it was ok and flat all the way was lying so i tried it it was fair shallow about a foot deep but 50 yrds down it seemed to just end with a quite deep waterfall luckily i was on the ball and stopped in time or else i'd have been 15ft down at the bottom of it so that wound me up further!! and i thought well 3rd time lucky and headed up to the second greenlane i had planned and (drum roll!!!!) it was blocked by a fallen tree why why why has my luck been soo bad today anyway at least i managed a few decent piccies (i hope! )
