We stopped after Whitestones for a cuppa in the community centre car park. Shock horror the toilets were closed... Whats that all about???
The Wayfarer, while up there we stopped on the way up to let a couple of fell runners jog past, they smiled and waved and said hello and seemed like a nice couple. The weather held for the drive up, failed miserably when we got to the top, as usual and then smiled on us for the way back down the other side.
We finished off with another Carwash extravaganza before going our seperate ways.
Im sure Dave has a few more pics and vids to add when he gets back. Had a great few hours out in the wilderness. We were thinking of doing the Lost Lake but neither of us could remember where the turnoff was unfortunately.
