hi all
got this sent by a friend ( jeep cherokee owner :oh yer: )
dont know if any of you have been here
www.mads4x4.co.uk or mads4x4 group on facebook
" The quarry at Briercliffe near Burnley provides some of the best off roading in the North West, and all 4x4s are welcome wether they are road legal or not (obviously non-road legal must be towed or trailered to the site) but once you get there you can be sure of a warm welcome and the chance to try your hand at some of the tougher elements of the quarry, such as the infamous "Sheep Dip" a 30 foot stretch of mud and water with a step in the middle that catches out even the most experienced off roaders.
The quarry has lots of different runs for both beginners and those of you who just want the adrenaline rush, the friendliness of the regulars to Briercliffe is second to none, and most are only to happy to get the winch out and drag you out of what ever situation you find yourself in."

has anybody been here ? any good ?
videos look fun on facebook !!
regards
