Sounds good.

Other places i would consider is:
Clock Warehouse at Shardlow
Ferryboat at Stoke Bardolph
Gunthorpe
Burntstump near Papplewick
The Hut at Ravenshead near Newstead Abbey
Seven Mile House
Fox and Hound near Blidworth
Riverside Farm on Queens Drive Nottingham

All have a decent amount of parking although Burntstump can be a nightmare if the weather is good and Clock Warehouse, Ferryboat and Gunthorpe are situated next to either a canal or river. Glorious if the weather is nice, peacefull and decent food. Ferryboat also offer 2for1 on all main meals.

There are plenty other places further a field from Nottingham these are just a few suggestions.

There's a few around that way, but not that much. Just depends how much laning you want to do.
A good location is the http://www.bulliththorn.co.uk, it's very well placed for a variety of lanes, and the food is top class.
