Those BFG MT's arn't as grippy as the GYW MT'R's on the Estate.

I think the difference is that the 2.8 diesel Estate is a leisurely drive, but can be made to misbehave when desired. The 2.0 petrol Sport (with low gearing) has to be driven "harder" to get the power out of it, putting it at the limit of grip more frequently.

Tyres make a big difference though (as does drivers' aggression)

L out of the two my Sport was the scariest to drive, I had more scary moments in that than I ever have in the LWB I think its the nature of the beast, the LWB is a lot more sure footed, but less fun if you like that sort of thing
