just an update bobby only going to be 4 in my car 2 of the kids have pulled out to a due to a winging wife on his part the poor sod got it right in the neck when she found out.

but still 4 coming so will be a good day for all

Just an update of my own i will be towing the FOG trailer with the BBQ so if anyone wants to bring there own food to cook you will be more than welcome.

Yes dogs are allowed

good as was over on the east coast and so many of the beaches are dog free zones

Can we have a map reference for the entrance please.

As the Sport has been repaired, I might pop up for a bit of a social

No playing on the beach sadly as its a public area and well policed :wink:

i know we cant play on the beach you all keep telling me i dont mean leary arsing up the beach.

but from looking on google maps the bit we park on is on the sand and so unlike my normal trips to the beach i know on the west coast i have to stay in the play area and not go of piste like i do over on the east coast where they have bike and buggy racing later in the season.

i know i may not be the first to raise the point of why dont we go to a beach we can play on? i thought i would ask as i regulary take a run down the coast over between skeg and mablethorpe as there are loads of places where the beach is open and away from people where you can play lets see we dont get stuck. especailly when your rolling on road tires like i am

The beach is council owned and on all beaches I know from Porthmadog in Wales to the Lakes none of the beaches can be "played on", many you can drive on in regulated places but at a set speed about 5mph, true many do 20mph but only on the one straight and no trips into the dunes, they are all fenced off for motor vehicles anyway and the beach need to be treated pretty much like a car park as ultimately that is what it is.
We cant change bylaws.
The reason we wanted to go to the beach was for a change from a normal surfaced car park, the kids can run around and the dogs, we can BBQ and socialise straight from the car :drink:

Oh yer and hide between the cars in the rain :lol:

tell me about it ill make sure i get the gazebo off my lad so that i have something to keep the rain off should it come down. :dance:

just looking on another forum and they have these listed as beaches you can drive on legally on the west coast

Weston (Membership of one of three clubs required)

Brean (Within the restricted dates / times / membership requirement)

Bolton Le Sands ( sort of )

Middleton Sands (definite)

You just pay at the booth for Ainsdale and Black Rock Sands :wink:

unles you get there before 6am, or after 6pm, you dont pay
