Midlands and North west meet 12Th august 2012

It was very busy there today, and I got a shock as its £5 per car to get on the beach.
I would suggest when you drive onto the beach turn left and keep going right up to the barriers where you cant go any further and claim that corner, you will not get a good speck if left too late :wink:

Oh toilets at the beach entrance and they are clean to start but minging by the end of the day.
There are burger vans and a mobile shop.
Strict rules apply for driving and speed and the Wardens patrol and the police are patrolling on quads :wink:

We'll be there B-)

I am setting off at 8 on Sunday so hope to get a good spot fingers crossed and weather good

well just getting my shirt and hat ready lol and will be setting off from here at 8 so hope to see whoever is coming tomorrow and remember your picnic

I m working on my hangover, so will be not drinking this time :lol:

Got back at 20 past six - not bad, since we left at five to four and I stopped for fuel and later a McD and covered 104 miles. Sunburn is setting in though, - might regret it in the morning :oops:

I must say though chaps, it was great to have a casual chat with your all. Not a bad venue for a meet in the fresh air (just thankfull those RC's buggered off).

Yes, we were at the seaside

and the sun was shining.

There was industry in the horizon

and a pantomime dog on the beach

although there was a normal, allbeit excitable, dog there as well.

Lawrence they are some cracking pics and as always the banter was great, thanks also go to drifty, rick and gazzebo and Lawrence for turning up to this or i would of looked a right plank me and Reese just sitting on the beach. Hope you all made it home safe and sound , was nice to see of my friends at this meet and when the sun came out it was hot
