Summary......

Black ice is the danger here,snow over the hills from Wales to the Shrewsbury Plains,clearing as you go Eastwards

Just had an inch of snow here in Kidsgrove on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border.

With more heavy snow predicted over the next 4 to 6 hours.

Main roads are reasonable clear, side roads and estates very dangerous.

The ironic thing is I may not be able to attend tonight NOT due to the weather, but work commitments and the fact of me been possibly the only Fast Food Takeaway driver in Staffordshire with a 4x4.

Just waiting for the phone call from work to call me in. Mind you I don't mind too much, all delivery charges are DOUBLED, plus my wages will be DOUBLED as well. £££££££££

no transport, wife has pug, farther inlaw has the galaxy, and fronty still in bits,

Occasional snow flurries, clear blue skies and sunshine.

matlock report heavy snow but im in derby so im still coming with blankets warm flask packed ready just incase

plus side i told audra to pack an overnight bag just incase we get stuck :wink:
