the three loch is a nice drive dunno if people will be up for it. As i said at the mmet i found another one i want to try see if its open first

hi guys help needed got a 2.8 td and changed the diff cover as it had a pin hole , the one i put on was off a 2.0ltr petrol different style but same stud pattern now i have quite a bit of vibration from rear axle :( and diff cover is hot to touch any ideas, cheers john.

The crown wheel must be rubbing against it mate. Metal to metal, will eventually rub through.
Did you put the correct oil, and amount back in?

thanks, still have the old one i will get it welded up and put it back on ,and see what happens.put 4.5ltrs of diff oil in not sure what type it was as a mate supplied it.

To see other cars on display on the day take a look at the galleries on the Pre '67 Ford site - the frontys feature on picture batches 4 & 5. Some cracking looking motors displayed. Nostalgia too for the oldee(er)s.
