A little input would help a forest drive i thought would be good as a start

I've sent out a couple of feelers. Hang tight on my front

my first trip out in the fronty was to lamancha and that was great fun. Only thing i broke was the pathetic plastic sump gaurd underneath, no great loss! You'd be amazed what a standard fronty can do!

im happy to get stuck and break some bits long as it get me home im happy to do whatever.

Good good ok when april or may on a weekend

Sorry all, been away for work, just home this arvo after leaving Leeds on the 3pm train on Tuesday. Waited 2.5hrs south of Dunbar for them to decide we couldn't get past the 2 landslides and flood on the line nr Edinburgh, then train went back to Berwick where a coach eventually turned up to take us to Edinburgh, where we then got a train to Dundee, where we then got put into taxis to take us to Aberdeen, nearly there and BAM!! Taxi spun 360degrees and landed in the gravel in the central reservation. Finally got to Abdn at 3.30am and found a room, had to stay last night too and as I say, home today feeling worse for wear.

However, I'm liking the idea of a forest drive. May be tame for some, this surely this first meeting or two is only to get to know people so no point going all out bashing yer trucks around in the mud and not getting to talk to anyone. Surely??

I'm afraid we can't make it until the end of May as I said, due to lambing.

I thinking the same just for a first meet just to get to know could bring some food n soft drinks have a b&q picnic thing just to kick us off. French farmer has a friend who can help with the dirty stuff. Jools has said he going to see what he can find see what he come back with.A forest drive as it stands and if something better we all fancy come sup then it goes to the majority vote

if you are finding it a bit tough to find places to go why dont you join a 4x4 club and go out with them.there is lots of clubs that do cater for shiny trucks and you meet a great bunch of folk.try boarders 4x4 they do not go mad when playing they drive around enjoying them self s.i am sure that you will be able to go to one of there meets and join in.its just a thought you can have a meet within a meet so to speak
