hi i'm new to frontera ownership so new i cant get the dam thing running right, i have a isuzu trooper to use for now though, anyway have a look at this,
http://forum.landrovernet.com/showthread.php?t=150886they meet up just about once a mth which is what your looking for, they have special permission to use otherwise closed off forest track, its vast site and for the intense 4x4ers amongts us it will suit your needs, mainly landrover nuts but all 4x4's welcome, it also doubles up as a social meet because its over a weekend, so after a day 4x4 driving on sat night all meet up to discuss in the pub, i camp at the nearby campsite in the centre of lochgilphead. oh and for the new to 4x4's they also have a shiny run (non damaging) on the sunday to give everyone a taster.
heres some pics of my trooper playing on the "shiny" coarse so you can imagine what the intense coarse is like
http://trooper2001.myphotoalbum.com/vie ... d=hpim0755let me know by pm if you fancy coming on this event and i'll let the organisor know.
put lochgilphead forest drive into you tube and you'll get endless vids of the event.
i think it would be a good starting point to tag along to another organised event and take it from there.
