Here the thing those who said they could an those that said they couldnt big difference. I asked for those who wished to attend to put thier names down well in advance an some did an some didnt add there name but said they could, towards the date i could see little names some let us know they could not attend for reasons which is fine it happens life changes its not compulsery some didnt . Scottish members are spaced out an some are not if it is family then well there little contact
The idea of the meets is not just about socialising or for the forum its for each other aswell its is nice to meet new people get out the house and do something. Frontera`s breakdown an having a local network is handy rather than a username on a forum. I use and attend same forum as martin aka domino an we have struck a freindship despite him been from edinburgh

an yes the meets are a bit intimadating at first especialy first time as the people are all different an you would proberly not speak to them in normal life but these forums break down those barriers an i watch people sharing advice, stories and numbers i watch people meeting each other to help fix their cars through getting to know each other at meets on the forum someone said "every acorn etc" The forum domino run has a big list of name`s for meets that start`s to die near the date then people have to pullout for reasons.
The location well it was chosen as it was suppose to be central to every one i never chose it i suggested as it looked better than a carpark in macdonalds an was on the 4x4 format you could do it in a car as its gravel it was a liesure drive, no one said oh its too far yeah i was disappointed on friday as i could see no input from any one, an after the meet there is more response to frenchfarmers comments than there was to my "put your name down " can you confirm your gonna attend?.
It was the first meet an well i tried so the next one i hope more people will show. i have never done or organised a meet before an i saw my mistakes but hey its how you learn. Now stop ranting save your energy for the next meet
