I want to play in WalesMy work is taking me to Abergavenny and it appears i may have a Saturday free for some muddy fun.

Hello mate, i live just outside Abergavenny.
Try here for a decent B&B in town, I stayed ther last year If there is a Pay and Play site local, I have yet to find it. As for lanes, im affraid im not much help, as have had no one to go laning with who knows the area
Thanks for the tip on the B&B i am in for Thursday & Friday night if you fancy a drink
I was ready to dust off the tent I thought wales was an off roading mecca, hey i do not mind a little trip to a good mud bath, are there any further afield Nick 1995, (N) SWB 20i Sport S (Named Rex)
No worries Nick
Not sure what im up to at the weekend yet, but ill let you know if i can meet for a drink at least....some one mention drink There are plenty of cracking lanes in Wales, but iv only driven ones in North Wales Different councils have different views over rights of way and it would seem that there are not that many BOATs or ORPAs of any length around here and i have not driven any of the short ones anyway
If you want to get muddy in Wales, go find a Pay & Play site.
If you fancy exploring the ancient heritage of byways in an area, drive with due consideration to the locals and other byway users and the rest of us may continue to enjoy said lanes. Due to the activities of a minority, the anti-4x4 brigade managed, through Parliament, to reduce the byway network open to motorised vehicle by half - do not give them more ammunition to get us banned from the rest of the network. I would only wish to undertake a pay and pay site, byway laws are too ........well you know complicated and liable to prosecution only a court room away.
I may try and find some choice country lanes these are nice to drive too Nick 1995, (N) SWB 20i Sport S (Named Rex)
Sorry as per the PM i am now in Portsmouth this weekend.
I would very much like to take you up on this offer when the Abergavenny job comes in. Sorry the Railway life never gives you that much time to plan, i will make sure the details are confirmed next time Sorry and lets hope i ride with you soon Nick 1995, (N) SWB 20i Sport S (Named Rex)
