I went looking for that lane (part of Sarn Helen) last summer, but could not find the start

It is marked as a BOAT, but not sure if it is drivable

The lane around Neath that is part of Sarn Helen is I'm sure part RB (was a RuPP) and no longer driveable.

Stick to BOATS and ORPA's and you should be OK, subject to TRO's

Lawrence, could you, if possible, check what parts are Restricted Byway? My OS map says BOAT as does Multi Map. If its been TRO'd we wont be driving it.

I know....... join GLASS or CRAG..... I haven't yet

But i think i will, just to be on the safe side when organizing trips in the future

Now that Luke has Multimap we will have to get something organised.

In the mean, have a look here.

You will find all the known fords in Carmarthenshire on that page.

Thats what i used to organise the December fording run
