I grew up in and around Llanelli.

There are lots of lanes that i would like to explore on Pembrey Mountain one day :D

The trips that we organise are more than often non damaging, so that they are open to more members. So don't worry, if you do attend a meet, we will have checked out the route beforehand :D

I've just had the dubious pleasure of surveying all the BOATs and Bridleways around my area (Pen-y-Mynydd/Trimsaran/Pembrey) and I would have thought the best place to play is on the open-cast mine site behind Trimsaran, where they're going to build the Ffos Las Horse Racing Course.

There's one other open BOAT that goes through a small section of forestry that has been chopped down now, and the other circular BOAT is impassable.

Kev, mate something will be organised but too much going on at the moment :D

Im booked up until the end of June at the earliest, so a bit later in the summer i hope :D

For those new to the forum, the site is outstanding. You can basically do what you like, where you like. Its up to you, you can rag around on open fields or treck through the woods (very technical and very possibly damaging to the vehicle).

Look HERE for what to expect :D

reithy is our contact with the site owners and not pembrey4x4 who charge stupid prices.

as a group we would be looking at a reduced price so keep an eye out for a meet there soon.

Seen as this is a local thread for local people, I'm after a diesel MOT failure for some serious off-road work (harrowing and rolling our fields). If anyone knows of one for sale, please PM me.
(Mods, if this is inappropriate here, please delete but if I need to trailer it, it needs to be local! Cheers.)
