Just had 2 weeks holiday in Scoland,travelling on a variety of roads (M,way,A,B,mountain pass`s & greenlane) keeping at or close to speed limit.

1968 miles 257 litres of fuel overall average 34.76 mpg

1926 miles ..... 237.47 Litres (50.30 Gallons) of fuel ............. 36.82mpg

Worst 1/4 tank .......... 32.17 mpg (Alpine passes with enthusiasm )

Best 1/4 tank ............ 41.95 mpg (flat straight roads mainly 70 & 90 kph sections)

I think I regularly get about 41 mpg on a run and 36 around town. I used to check regularly !One of the reasons I like tthe Frontera!

hope these figures are right ! im used to getting around 47 mpg out my motor now but am buying a 2.2 dti..........
