I have a problem with my 1997 2.2i petrol it keeps cutting out not all the time but about every 5 miles or so but if I leave it for 20 mins it starts fine but when it cuts out it’s like I’ve turned off the key then in management light comes on for a second then the engine dies

That’s my next step I think it might be my EGR valve but it’s never done it before tahsin I done my head gasket it’s been perfect for about 2 weeks now this problem but it runs perfect till it cuts out
