Auto Gearbox

Can anybody help me please ? What type of Automatic trans fluid is used in 2.2 DTi Gearbox and is there a Dipstick allocated or am i being the dipstick ? :lol:

Can't remember of the top of my head what oil you use but there is no dipstick. There is a drain and a fill hole. You need to pump in oil until it is level with the fill hole, take it for a drive running it through all the gears and then check level and too up as appropriate

Munfred is correct...no dipstick on these

Should be using Dexron 2 for the fluid. Not 100% sure how much as I have 2 figures written down.
6.5 and 8.5 litres but haven't done an auto for about 8 years now.
Don't forget the auto box is cooled by the rad and 2 pipes take and return auto box oil to the bottom of the rad.
