Location of Sendor unit

Hi all just bought my first frontera B 2.2 petrol. Does anyone know where I can find the sendor unit is as the petrol gauge isn't working proper. The clocks are fine and do work as they have been changed recently. Many thanks.

Reckon it's in the tank. Here's the partbase exploded diagram to confirm if I've inpreted correctly.
Not always the unit, sometimes it can be the wiring.
