Bluetooth OBD2 reader

Had a Bluetooth OBD2 reader I bought for another car which I have just tried on my Frontera, it worked OK on the other car but works even better on Frontera, it reads a lot more of the sensors and even let me reset the engine warning light on a sensor that seemed to stuck on in fault (not recommended unless you know what the problem is) like many others I have the problem with the speed dial working when it feels like it so its ideal for a temporary solution till I get round to fixing it, mind you I must admit I like being able to chose what type of dial etc monitors your speed and have found it to be very accurate, still got a bit of messing round to do before it gives me all the info on MPG etc but for what it cost its well worth it, so was wondering if anyone else had used one of these and what results they have had be it good or bad.

What software/app are you using with it?

Its called OBD check orange engine symbol with red check underneath, there is a free app which I tried first then bought the full one which was only a few quid.

If your running android then "torque" is also excellent and pretty cheap ( there is also a free version ).

how did you get this to work, tried a OBD2 bluetooth device and the phone wont connect to the ECU! please help as only obd device that works of the op-com obd with op-com software only

What do you mean the phone won't connect to the ecu? it's the obd device that does this, so have you paired your device correctly or is the phone displaying the error 'can't connect to the ecu?' as that means the device can't.
