Cleaning tires of mud before going on "modern" roads

Hi

I just read my legislation and they will fine people that go with mud on so called "modern" roads...Do any one have a solution to cleaning the muddy tires after offroad in mud before going home on tarmac..Usually i accelerate on tarmac and they will clean themselves but i have to do it before going on tarmac..Tricky part..

Go to your local garden centre, buy a 10 litre spray bottle. The sort you pump a pressure into then spray what ever. usually used for spraying weed killer or feed onto plants. I've had one for some time to clean mud and stuff off the lights and number plates or to rinse out the radiator fins when they get muddy. should also clean mud from the tyres.

I imagine 10 litre of water carry with me just to spray on tires..Funny really
