Hi there just changing the outer casing on the key as rubbers are worn on the on off push button. on doing so the case that hold s the battery has come away and i guess will now not work correctly do to no longer been attached to touch circuit?

is there an easy fix or do i have to go say hello to vauxhall and buy new keys and then have them reset to car?

I had the same problem. Key blade was fine but battery holder had come adrift. I went to vx and it cost me £96 including programing the fob to the truck. Took him 10 minutes! People on here do know of a cheaper way but you need equipment to program it.

this also happened to one of mine, i had a bit more of a blue peter solution.

i used a no.10 scalpel and cut away a tiny amount of the plastic stand-off "leg" between the battery holder and the circuit board, thus revealing a bit more metal inside it, scrapped the chrome off the metal slightly then flux+soldered it back on to the circuit board.

Hi.

I had this with our key fob to our Frontera and I sent mine to someone one ebay and got ours repaired and when it came back,I did not have to re-program the key,if I remember correctly it cost us alot cheaper than Vauxhall because we do not have the "Vauxhall pass card".
