Road Tax

My motor is taxed until Feb`15, now as we know Tax discs will stop being issued at the end of October`14. My question is this.............will I be able to stop displaying `my` tax disc at the end of October as I quite fancy putting a replica 1999 disc (1st year of my Fronty`s reg.) on display........or would the authorities frown on this as my current tax still has 5 months to run ?

I have to agree with Robfog caution is the best policy , as I received mine today and I had to cut it out myself as the DVLA are running there stock down so perforated tax discs are not being issued

You have to display your Current tax disc until it runs out.

On the letter which had the g/f's new tax disk on it there is a section which clearly states it must be displayed (which has always been the case)
